Astronaute is a predominantly stainless steel and iron sculpture that decomposes into 34 elements. Many of these elements are items of jewelry including bracelets, necklaces, pendants, earrings, finger rings, and a tie pin. The sculpture also contains cylindrical and conical anamorphoses of a male torso which are viewed using special cylindrical and conical mirrors contained within the sculpture.
