Crafted from maple and purpleheart with a walnut, leopardwood, and padauk base, the lighthouse is actually three puzzles in one. After four moves, the top of the lighthouse can be removed. After five more, the body of the lighthouse can be removed from the rocky crag base on which it sits. Finally, you must access the two compartments in the body of the lighthouse by using a rotating double-ring and threads on the body to coax the compartments open. This requires careful observation as to where the threads are and, as importantly, where they are not. An impressive puzzle.
