The chest above is the sequel to the "lost day" chest and was custom-crafted by Kelly Snache of Soultree Creations. It took me over 30 hours to find all of the compartments in the chest and hence this chest has been affectionately named the "lost weekend" chest. Well over half of those hours were devoted to "opening" the lid. This lid may not be what you would expect:

The lid is locked to the rest of the chest on the interior of both the front and back panels. The mechanics on the interior of the front panel are shown below.

The removal of the lid requires the use of several clues and tools concealed underneath the chest. Several other tools are encountered as you progress through the compartments of the chest. On the right-side, you can also see a written clue that will eventually lead to the proper manipulation of the nine knobs in the second photo above. But then what?

There are also nine more knobs on the back. If you are observant, you can see many more visual clues in the photos. Seriously folks, does it get any better than this? Kelly may be contacted via email at soultreecreations@yahoo.ca.
