Meeting called to order at 6:30 PM.
Old Business:
Reminder to make sure everyone involved in the club must sign the liability waiver.
Update on PCTM and Bloomsburg conferences—let Brian know if you are no longer interested and have previously signed up.
Treasurer’s Report: $910
Hershey Park-Oct. 25th. We need at least 20 people. If going, $20 is due by this Friday Oct. 3rd.
Intramural Volleyball—first game Tuesday Sept. 30. Good Luck team!
T-shirts: We got a good price. Around $8. Bring ideas next meeting on top 10 reasons why to be a math major. We will decide on the top 10 and color of shirt. We are leaning toward California blue right now.
Math Competition: Oct. 30th. Starts at 9. Help will be needed.
Quiz Bowl will be coming up. Bryan Satterly will have more information.
Problem Solving Competition: Located on bulletin board in math hall. Come up with answer to question and submit to Math Club mailbox. If you get it right, you will have a chance to win a trip to Oregon for a math competition! Deadline: Tomorrow October 1.
New Business:
End of the semester party. Less formal than banquet. More information to come.
Clemson Open House December 5-7. For seniors interested in grad school. We can send up to 3 people. Let Brian know if you are interested.
The physics club has challenged us to various activities such as kickball or flag football. Let Brian know if you are interested.
