Kenneth W. Thompson: I earned a Ph.D. at
The University of Texas at Austin in 1976 in Zoology/Ichthyology. I am a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Lock Haven
University of Pennsylvania where I teach comparative anatomy, ecology, ichthyology, aquatic biology
and related courses. I am a member of the Academic Advisory Board of the Marine Science Consortium where I also serve as Curator of Fishes.

Research Interests: My research interests are the
evolution of fishes, cytotaxonomy and water quality monitoring.
