June 23 - July 11 (Three Weeks)

This course will encourage the student to reflect upon the social, political, and economic dimensions of the post-World War Two period with a special emphasis on the Cold War and the United States' role in the world. Because the active participation of each student is required in a seminar, attendance at all class meetings and other activities is mandatory.

GRADING

Your final grade will be computed on the following basis:

Test I 20%
Test II 40%
Project 10%
Participation 25%
Discretionary 5%

Note: All assignments and exercises must be satisfactorily completed to pass the course.
