Replacing and Adding

I. Placeholder Text

1. On the Insert menu, click Text Box

2. Move the cursor into the body of the poster where you want to insert the text.

3. Click the mouse button and keep it held down and drag the cursor down to create text box area

4. The text box is now ready for you to enter text.

II. Placeholder Pictures

On the Insert menu, select Picture , then click either Clip Art. or From File.

  • When Clip Art. is selected, you will be provided with the Clip Art task pane that allows you to search the clip art(s).
  • When From File. is selected, you will be prompted to select the graphic file(s) from you computer.
  • III. Placeholder WordArt and AutoShapes

    On the Insert menu, select Picture , then click either AutoShapes or WordArt

  • When AutoShapes is selected, you will be provided with many different shape styles ( Lines, Connectors, Basic Shapes, etc. ).
  • When WordArt is selected, you will be prompted to select a WordArt style for you to enter text.
  •  

    Reformatting

    1. Click the placeholder you want to format.

    2. On the Format menu, click

  • Text Box for the text box,
  • Picture for the clip art or picture,
  • AutoShapes for the AutoShapes, or
  • WordArt for the WordArt
