Media Services resides on the ground floor of Stevenson Library. We provide the following services all LHU students and faculty:

1. We assist students and faculty to become better acquainted with the following media-related software:

   a)  For PC users, we have 6 individual PC workstations & 4 collaborative PC workstations with the following applications on them

• Dreamweaver web authoring software
• Photoshop CS
• Photoshop Elements
• Premiere Elements
• Premiere video editing software
• Adobe Acrobat Writer
• Paint Shop Pro

b)  For Macintosh users, we have 2 individual G5 workstations with the following applications on them:

• IWeb
• IDVD
• IPhoto
• Garage Band
• IMovie
• Pages
• Keynote
• Final Cut Express HD
• We make available to students, faculty, staff, and community patrons a growing collection of feature film DVDs and VHS tapes for home or in-library use. We currently have over 1000 feature films that circulate for 3 day periods.



2. We provide poster printing, color printing, scanning, laminating; and die cut lettering services for students, faculty & staff. Prices for these services are based on size and the amount of ink used.



3. We supply a wide variety of audiovisual equipment to students, faculty, and staff, both for check-out usage and for classroom delivery. Click HERE to see Media Services Loan Guidelines



4. With two full-time staff members and a good number of trained student workers, we give hands on support for students engaged in Live-Text electronic portfolios, including scanners, cameras, camcorders, photo and video editing, and Live Text / PowerPoint / Keynote assistance.
