Materials may be renewed twice in person or online via PILOT as long as no one else has placed a hold on them.
Overnight materials can not be renewed.
Lost items can not be renewed.
You are responsible for returning materials on or before the due date.
All library materials charged to faculty and staff become due at the end of the semester during which they were borrowed. Renewal of materials via PILOT or at the main desk may take place at this time.
Overdue materials are subject to a non-refundable $10.00 processing fee.
The following sequence will apply to all overdue notices, with the exception of reserve and restricted use (i.e., bound periodical) materials.
1. A reminder notice will be sent 1 day after the item due date.
2. One week later, a second notice will be sent.
3. After the second week, a third notice will be sent.
4. If the overdue item is not returned after the third week past the due date, the item will be considered lost. A notice with a charge for the replacement cost plus a replacement fee will be sent. If the replacement cost and fee are not paid, further steps may be taken through the Bursar to place a hold on the student's transcript, deny registration for classes, and/or delay graduation. Civil prosecution may also be pursued.
