keep this information to yourself! As soon as RD arrives, he or she
is in charge of the situation.

See if
you can ascertain what he/she has taken (make note of amount and
type) and the approximate time when he/she took it. If you find
empty bottles or prescription vials, collect them and send them to
the hospital.

appropriate a professional staff member will inform you of further
developments regarding the student.

Suicidal thoughts are difficult to verbalize (ask questions).

Listen carefully with concern; ask for details.
