Computer Lab Rules
The following rules, when followed, will help make everyone's experience better.
Happy Computing!!!
Computer Lab Purpose
Computer labs are provided for supporting all LHU students in their
academic endeavors.
Computer Lab Closings
Many of our labs are closed for instructional teaching. If you
are planning on working in a specific lab, please check the schedules to ensure
it will be available for the timeframes you need.
Noise Level
Since the labs are designed for academic endeavors, please keep
talking and radio levels to a minimum. If you receive a phone call or
would like to socialize, please step out into the hallway. Thanks for
being considerate.
Food and Drink
Due to the sensitivity of electronic components, please do not bring
food or drink into the computer labs. If it is seen, you will be asked to
remove it from the lab. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in this
matter.
Computer Related Questions
Each lab has a lab attendant assigned to that lab during all open
hours. Please feel free to direct your questions to the on duty lab
attendant. Please remember that skill and knowledge levels will exist
between lab attendants.

Busy Lab Times
If the lab is full, and you are NOT working on graded material,
please relinquish your computer to someone in need. Thanks for being
considerate.
Printing
Please ensure that your default printer is set to a printer within
the lab you are printing. Many sheets of paper are wasted each day due to
print jobs sent to other lab printers.
Printers are provided for printing 1 (one) copy of your academic related materials. Please examine all documents carefully prior to printing and please print only one copy. If you have multiple copies that need to be printed, please print an original and take it to duplicating (located Hursh Nevel building, near tennis courts). Large jobs sent to the lab printers without proper notification may be removed from the print queue.
