Quiz 2 will treat fractions from Chapter 2:

Quiz 3 will be Tuesday July 1st and will treat the homework in Chapters 3, 4, and 5.

Quiz 4 will be Tuesday July 8th include problems drawn from the Chapter 7 algebra assignment and the first Ch 8 assignment.  Quiz 4 answers
Quiz 5 will be Thursday, July 10th.  It will include some problems like those from Quiz 4 that emphasize parenthesis.  The rest will be drawn problems from the Chapter 9 homework (graphing, graphing lines).

Quiz 6 will be Tuesday, July 15th.  Quiz 6 answers.  It will include polynomial problems like those assigned in Chapter 10 and the first assignment in Chapter 11  (Some basic factoring of trinomials, including those of the form x² + bx + c.)     More details here.
Quiz 7 will be Tuesday, July 22 and will cover the first two assignments in Chapter 12.

Exam I will be Thursday, July 3rd. and will cover Chapters, 1, ... , 5, and parts of 7 (the first homework set in Ch. 7 and expressions with signed numbers taken from parts of sections 4, 5, 6, and 8)
(I plan to cover more material ... through approximately Chapter 8 by the end of the week, but the Exam will only cover the above.)   A few quick notes about Exam I
Exam II will be Thursday, July 17.  Should include the material covered since Exam I up through Chapter 11.
Exam III will be Thursday, July 24.   About half or Exam III will be drawn from new material covered since Exam II, the other half will include problems similar to (numbers will be changed) ones you saw on either Exam I, or Exam II.
