Two LHU students attend Educator Bootcamp


LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - On August 6-7, 2013, Secondary English Education majors Alyssa Davis (senior) and Kimberly Bargar (junior) attended Educator Bootcamp at Intermediate Unit #10 in West Decatur, Pa.

Along with their sponsor, Dr. Alyce Baker, who is the Secondary English program coordinator, Alyssa and Kim learned about topics such as response to instruction and intervention, classroom management, content literacy, and active engagement. At the end of the two days, Kim and Alyssa were presented with certificates of participation.

Lock Haven University is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), the largest provider of higher education in the commonwealth. Its 14 universities offer more than 250 degree and certificate programs in more than 120 areas of study. Nearly 405,000 system alumni live and work in Pennsylvania.
