Launch the Greeks: Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity Launch Massive Balloon

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Lock Haven will finally make it to a new level, the edge of the atmosphere! As part of the homecoming weekend activities, the local chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity from Lock Haven University will be launching a high density weather balloon to the edge of the atmosphere. The balloon is estimated to reach 90,000 feet in the air to the edge of the atmosphere. This would presumably make Alpha Sigma Phi the first fraternity to have its influence reach space!
