LHU Clearfield Students Sing and Dance for Good Cause

May 2, 2014- Lock Haven University’s Clearfield Campus hosted a free performance of Le Sprezzatura, A Cabaret, on Thursday, April 24th.  The performance, hosted at the University’s Founders’ Hall, was open to the public.

The University Players, in association with the LHU S.A.S. and Theatre Department, was pleased to provide this performance, which featured outstanding musical numbers and vignettes conceived, choreographed, and co-directed by Sara Billman, Brook Reese, and Jarrett Thompson, with support from faculty advisor Ramona Broomer. The performance was one of many events planned at LHU Clearfield as a part of their 25th Anniversary Celebration.

A “Free Will” contribution was collected at the performance, which was then donated to the CAST (Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre) to help promote the arts in the Clearfield region.  Over $150 was collected.
