Lock Haven-As most Lock Haven University Seniors were preparing for graduation, there were ten outstanding young Americans also swearing an oath of office and taking the final step to commissioning as Second Lieutenants in the United States Army.

The ceremony took place in the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center among family and friends that were also involved in the ceremony.  The recently commissioned Second Lieutenants are April Ferry, Joseph Fiasco, Brian Kelly, Cody Newsome, Eric Redmond, Daniel Ruiz, Madeline Ruiz, Christopher Sefter, Zachary Thorne and Dana Wozniak.  These young men and women are among the newest leaders in the military representing both the Active Army and Reserve Component (Army Reserves and National Guard).
