Barbados Night at LHU

April 6, 2012

Lock Haven University’s Institute for International Studies invites the community to “come sail away” to the Caribbean. Wednesday, April 11 will be “Barbados Night” in Parsons Union Building, meeting room #2.

The celebration starts at 7 p.m.  Guests can enjoy the culture, music, food and people of Barbados.  They will also have the opportunity to talk with Nakira Downes, a native of Barbados who came to Lock Haven University to study Health and Physical Education and play field hockey.

IIS Director Rosanna Campbell hopes that community members will stop by for a taste of the Caribbean – without having to leave home.
