Feb. 29, 2012

The Lock Haven University Women’s Lacrosse Team will be hosting their 10th annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 7, 2012. All children 10 and under are invited to join in on the fun.

Festivities will start at 11 a.m. on Charlotte E. Smith Field, rain or shine. Activities will include face painting, t-shirt painting and a special opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny.

The entire team is looking forward to this annual event. Lacrosse Team Captain Nicole Necci observed, “The Easter Egg Hunt is a great way to connect with the community in a fun environment. The players interact with the children and everyone has fun with the activities.”

Head Coach Kristen Selvage agreed. “Our annual Easter Egg Hunt has become a staple within our program. The team really enjoys sharing the spirit of Easter with the children and everyone has so much fun!”  She added, “Every aspect of the event gets the team excited, from the initial planning to helping the Easter Bunny hide the eggs, from helping the children paint their t-shirts and faces, all the way through the egg hunt itself. This is something we look forward to and really enjoy!”
