LHU Announces New Appointment for Enrollment Management

Lock Haven University is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Tyana Lange as Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management. She begins her responsibilities at the University on February 4, 2013.

Lange comes to Lock Haven from Indiana University Kokomo, where she was Director of Enrollment Management. She has also served as Marketing Manager for Graduate Programs at Kettering University. She brings more than 20 years of academic experience in admissions, financial aid, records, marketing, academic advising and student success. She holds a Master’s degree in Leadership from Central Michigan University and is currently writing the dissertation for a doctorate in Leadership and Organization Development from Lawrence Technological University in Michigan.

Lange said that, during her interview, she was "impressed with the individuals I met and the enthusiasm and commitment that was evident in faculty, staff and students." She said she is excited about working within a culture ready for a comprehensive enrollment management plan and looks forward to being part of the team that gets to implement it.

“The Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management position was developed to more efficiently administer student services including admissions, registrar, financial aid, and student success initiatives,” stated Dr. Donna Wilson, Provost and Senior Vice President. “Ms. Lange will be responsible to provide effectual student-oriented processes to guide students through the enrollment pathway from recruitment to commencement.”

Lange will develop annual and long-term comprehensive enrollment plans aligned with the University’s Strategic Plan. She will oversee the offices of the Registrar, Financial Aid, Admissions, One-Stop Enrollment Services Center; develop an office to coordinate academic initiatives for student success; and, further, align people, systems, and processes with the enrollment plan and University-wide strategic priorities.
