LHU Lacrosse pancake breakfast February 5
Feb. 1, 2012
The Lock Haven University women’s lacrosse team will host their annual All-U-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, February 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in Thomas Fieldhouse.
The public is invited to join LHU faculty, staff and students in this popular event. Tickets are $5.00. Proceeds will be shared to benefit the women’s lacrosse team and 4-year old Carly Grace Shoemaker and her family. Carly Grace Shoemaker has been diagnosed with Rett’s Syndrome, a rare disease.
“This pancake breakfast has become our annual tradition,” says Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach Kristen Selvage,” “It is wonderful,” she said, “to have my team interact and serve the local campus and community and to help raise funds for a young child.”
Participants are urged to come hungry. The lacrosse team will be serving fresh pancakes with a wide selection of toppings, including blueberries, strawberries, bananas, chocolate chips, whipped cream and syrup. Coffee and orange juice will help round out a breakfast made to satisfy!
Tickets are available at the door or by pre-order. Contact kselvage@lhup.edu
