These rubrics play an important role in
assessing learning in General Education at Lock Haven. Faculty are
encouraged to adopt or incorporate them in grading assignments and
sharing findings with the General Education Subcommittee. With the
exception of the rubric for critical thinking, all have been approved
by the appropriate faculty committees.
We hope in the future to share other rubrics that assist in assessment
of learning in other areas of the general education curriculum.
