LHU’s Eisenhauer receives Educator of the Year Award from PSPA

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Lock Haven University’s Walter Eisenhauer, Physician Assistant Program director, has received the Physician Assistant Educator of the Year Award from the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.

Eisenhauer is a lifelong resident of central Pennsylvania who has been a faculty member in the PA Program since its inception in 1996. He holds the rank of professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies.

The award is to honor the physician assistant educator who inspires, stimulates and challenges students and colleagues through outstanding contributions to Physician Assistant education and the Physician Assistant profession.

Recipients of the award must be a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants and must have a minimum of three years experience in Physician Assistant education.
