LHU's Morales appointed to editorial boards of Spanish journals

Dr. Carlos Morales

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Dr. Carlos Morales, executive director of the Lock Haven University eCampus and Learning Technologies program, has been appointed to the editorial board of “Revista Latinoamericana de Tecnologia Educativa,” an online journal that focuses on the advances of educational technology and distance education in Latin America.

Morales also has been appointed to the scientific committee of “Revista de Estilos de Aprendizaje,” a new online journal based at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia in Madrid, Spain.

“As the prominence of distance education, the quality of offerings and its enrollments continue to grow, having the opportunity of being appointed to the editorial boards of these two journals opens many opportunities for collaboration between LHU and institutions in the Spanish-speaking world,” Morales said.

Morales currently serves on the board of trustees of the Consortium of Distance Education, participates in two peer review boards for MERLOT.org and recently completed a two-year term on the evolving technologies committee of EDUCAUSE.

Lock Haven University is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), the largest provider of higher education in the commonwealth.
