Bill Clinton to speak at LHU

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Former U.S. President Bill Clinton will visit the Lock Haven University campus on Thursday, April 17, to campaign on behalf of his wife, Hillary Clinton, and will present a speech titled “Solutions for America.”

Doors at Thomas Fieldhouse on the LHU campus will open promptly at 7:45 p.m., and admittance is free. No tickets are necessary.

Bleacher seating is available to accommodate 1,200 people, and after the bleachers are filled, admittance is standing room only. Special arrangements will be made for those with disabilities.

There will be no parking on Campus Drive, which extends along the Thomas Fieldhouse complex, after 4 p.m. Though setup will be going on throughout the day at the facility, the athletics offices will be accessible until 6 p.m.

The event will be webcast at the LHU Web site, www.lhup.edu.
