Bronner’s drawings from the ‘Nightmare Series’ to be displayed at Coker College

On Feb. 18, 2008 Coker College will open a new solo exhibition of drawings by Jason Bronner titled Drawings from the Nightmare Series in Hartsville, South Carolina. The works will be on display through March 14th.

The exhibition presents recent work by Mr. Bronner, who is currently Associate Professor of Art at Lock Haven University, where he has taught since 2000. Bronner teaches drawing and painting among other art courses. The artist will give a lecture on his work at the opening reception on Feb.18 from 7 to 8 p.m. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Bronner’s work was selected for display at Coker College via a national call for artists with submissions sent from across the U.S. Over the past ten years, Bronner's drawings and paintings have been selected for exhibition in national and international shows by curators from numerous museums including the Dallas Museum of Art, the Tampa Museum of Art, the San Antonio Museum of Art and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
