LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Despite the rain and foul weather, 45 students from Lock Haven University participated in Make A Difference Day, which is one of three national days of service, on Saturday, October 25. Students from the Honors Program, Health Science Club, Zeta Phi Beta sorority, the MountainServe Center’s Americorps program and the Scuba Club volunteered their efforts to Downtown Lock Haven’s Fall Fest, Susqueview, the Second Mile, Millbrook Playhouse, and Clinton County Cleanscapes. It was a day of getting things done in Clinton County. Student Americorps members and co- organizers Ian Carrow and Tasha Hartley stated that “It was a great experience and we want to thank the students and community partners who participated.” |
