LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - At an awards ceremony on October 29, the Northern Tier Cultural Alliance presented the LHU music department with a grant to help fund a classical concert series. Associate Professor of Music David Curtin (far right) accepted the award. With him are (l. to r.) Mitzi Gallagher, Representative Michael K. Hanna's office; Julie Brennan, Senator Wozniak's office; and Representative Rick Mirabito. Lock Haven University is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), the largest provider of higher education in the commonwealth. Its 14 universities offer more than 250 degree and certificate programs in more than 120 areas of study. Nearly 405,000 system alumni live and work in Pennsylvania. |
