LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - With rousing music and flag routines, members of the Lock haven University Marching Band gave an exciting performance on Saturday, October 31. The 2009 Marching Band Revue in Price Performance Center was a major success.
The concert began with band members marching in and performing the National Anthem. Audience members were then treated to a variety of tunes. In addition, students in Band Front, the flag corps, presented a sampling of their on-field flag routines.
Conductor for the concert was Ronald Miller, interim conductor. Miller filled in for conductor Jack R. Schmidt, currently on sick leave. Miller observed that the students were committed to “making Jack proud of them.” After the concert, it was obvious to all that the students had fulfilled their goal.
