LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Pianist David T. Curtin will perform works by Mozart, Mendelssohn,Schubert and Tchaikovsky in a concert at Lock Haven University. The concert will be Thursday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m. in Price Performance Center. This concert is free and the public is invited to attend.
Curtin is associate professor of music at Lock Haven University. He is credentialed as a Steinway Artist. The Steinway Artist designation is an internationally-recognized credential given to only the finest concert pianists.
A native of Rochester, N.Y., Curtin earned his Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He has performed nationally and internationally. In June, Curtin traveled to China to conduct master classes in piano.
Lock Haven University is a member of the Pennsylvania State
System of Higher Education (PASSHE), the largest provider of higher education in
