LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Several months ago Lock Haven University engaged two highly respected individuals with significant collegiate athletic experience to conduct an assessment of the athletic program. The goal was to identify both the programís strengths and weaknesses, and to receive recommendations on ways the program could be enhanced to the benefit of our student-athletes and the university.Lock Haven University is a member of the Pennsylvania State
System of Higher Education (PASSHE), the largest provider of higher education in
the commonwealth. Its 14 universities offer more than 250 degree and certificate
programs in more than 120 areas of study. Nearly 405,000 system alumni live and
work in Pennsylvania.
The review has been completed. A final report detailing its findings has been received and shared with the LHU Council of Trustees. The university will review the findings and recommendations carefully. The University is committed to using this review to strengthen the athletic program for the future.
