LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University 2010 opening meeting on August 26 provided faculty and staff an opportunity to meet the university’s newest employees.

Interim President Barbara B. Dixon, herself a new employee of Lock Haven University, took a few minutes to introduce herself to the campus community before delivering a brief address outlining the goals and challenges of the upcoming academic year.
Lock Haven University is a member of the Pennsylvania State
System of Higher Education (PASSHE), the largest provider of higher education in
the commonwealth. Its 14 universities offer more than 250 degree and certificate
programs in more than 120 areas of study. Nearly 405,000 system alumni live and
work in Pennsylvania.
