Dr. Ray Heffner, professor and chair of the LHU Art Department, welcomed families to the 2009 Arts Fest on Ivy Lane. Officials at LHU are expecting the 2010 Arts Fest to be another huge success.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Community members of all ages are invited to participate in Lock Haven University’s Arts Fest and the Fall Art Exhibition in Bentley Art Gallery. There is still time for artists to register to participate in either or both of these events.
The Arts Fest is an outdoor festival that will take place on Ivy Lane on Saturday, October 16, as part of the university’s Homecoming festivities. The Arts Fest will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will include fine art and craft displays and live demonstrations of art techniques, musical and theatrical performances by regional artists and LHU students, a children’s art fair and activities for children.
The exhibit in Bentley Art Gallery will showcase the works of regional artists. The show will run from October 15 to November 4. There will be an opening reception on Friday, October 15 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
