CVPP partners with Social Work Club for canned food drive |

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University Campus Violence Prevention Program has partnered with the Social Work Club of Lock Haven University for a canned food drive to stock the pantry of the Clinton County Women’s Center. CVPP is a support service for victims of domestic and dating violence, sexual assault and stalking that works closely with the nearby Clinton County Women’s Center. When women, men and children live in the CCWC shelter, they are responsible for cooking their own meals, so it is crucial to keep the pantry stocked full of nutritious options. CVPP Director Jennifer Bodnar hopes that “we can come together as a campus to ensure that people living in the shelter have a variety of options when it comes to cooking their next meal.” |
