LHU guest speaker will discuss the role of women in Indonesia and Islam

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The role of women in Indonesia and Islam will be the topic for Lock Haven University’s next Conversation on Issues Forum. The forum will take place on Wednesday, October 13 at 6:00 p.m. in the Greenburg Auditorium (Health Sciences Building). The public is invited to this free event.

The guest speaker will be Srifani Simbuka, lecturer and department chair at Manado State Institute for Islamic Studies, Indonesia. Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world, with a population of over 200 million. Lecturer Simbuka’s presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
