LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University Recreation Management and Sport Administration majors have teamed up this year and have organized a professional conference on Monday November 15, 2010. The conference is being held in the PUB from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00.
The conference will have many interesting sessions for professionals in recreation management and sport administration, and for students interested in learning more about a career in these fields. Sessions will include Play for Brian, Stress Management, Time Management, Volunteerism, Research and Career Changing and many more relating to the Recreation Management and Sport Administration majors.
This event was organized by Judy Elliott’s special events class. The students have worked very diligently to organize and run a professional workshop that will be beneficial to students and professionals working in the field.
The cost of the event for Lock Haven University students is 5 dollars without lunch and 10 dollars including lunch; for non Lock Haven University Students the price is 10 dollars. The cost for professionals is 80 dollars per person and 65 dollars for Lock Haven Alumni and PRPS Members.
