LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University Sport Administration Society will host Buffalo Bills Director of Football Administration Don Purdy as their featured speaker on Friday, Jan. 28. This Sport Speaker Series Event will take place at 12:30 p.m. in the PUB Meeting Room #2. Members of the community are invited to attend.
During his presentation, Mr. Purdy will cover his rise from Buffalo Bills intern to his current position as Director of Football Administration. Mr. Purdy’s duties include the oversight of finances and administrative matters for coaching, scouting, trainers and players. He is also involved in contract negotiations, team travel and player injury matters. He has served in several capacities with the Bills, including assistant business manager, but started with the organization as an intern.
Mr. Purdy has had the opportunity to travel all over the world with the Bills, including games in London and Berlin. Additionally, he was a part of the teams that went to four consecutive Super Bowls and served under former Bills executives Bill Polian, John Butler and Marv Levy. Mr. Purdy earned his bachelor’s degree from Houghton College in 1989, where he was a business major with a minor in economics.
