LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Lock Haven University’s Institute for International Studies hosted a celebration of the Chinese New Year. Faculty, students and staff enjoyed Chinese food and learned about the Chinese zodiac. According to the Chinese zodiac, 2011 is the Year of the Rabbit.
Meng Xi Tang, a student from China majoring in Business Administration, and Cuihua Li, an exchange student from Changsha University in China help Colby Hepner master the use of chopsticks. Hepner is an LHU student who recently studied in N. Korea. Lock Haven University is a member of the Pennsylvania State
System of Higher Education (PASSHE), the largest provider of higher education in
the commonwealth. Its 14 universities offer more than 250 degree and certificate
programs in more than 120 areas of study. Nearly 405,000 system alumni live and
work in Pennsylvania.
