LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Lock Haven University’s Campus Violence Prevention Program will sponsor a “Spring Break Safety Awareness” table the week of February 28 through March 3, 2011 in the lobby of Bentley.
The presentation will emphasize ways students can stay safe during Spring Break with a focus on sexual assault prevention. The presentation will highlight the grooming process perpetrators use on potential victims, offer safety tips and provide an overview of campus and community resources.
Jennifer Bodnar, Director of CVPP, wants students to remember that “numerous sexual assault cases occur over spring break and students need to take precautions so they can reduce the likelihood of being victimized.”
