In the fall 2001, the President’s
Commission on Strategic Planning was
formed to develop new
mission,
vision, and
goal statements to guide the development
of a new strategic plan. The Commission
was comprised of membership from faculty,
staff, administrative, and student leadership.
At the conclusion of the 2002-03 academic
year, the Commission completed its initial
charge and unveiled a five-year Strategic
Plan.
Moreover, the University has
developed an Action Plan and Resource
Plans (see Office
of Planning and Assessment Website)
which predict activities and funding
sources over a two-year planning horizon
in support of the Strategic Plan.
This
year, 2005-06, marks year three for
implementing the Strategic Plan.
