The Provost is the chief academic officer of LHU. The Office of the Provost stands at the intersection of LHU’s faculty, staff, and student communities. The Provost oversees academic programs and priorities, ensures for quality of the faculty, and maintains educational excellence.
 
The departments or services reporting to the Provost include the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education and Human Services, Library and Information Services, Clearfield Campus, Registrar, Admissions, Honors Center and the Institute for International Studies.

LHU offers more than 60 degree programs at our main and Clearfield campuses. The programs are at the associate, baccalaureate, and master degree levels. The university also offers a host of courses and degrees via distance education.
