The Provost is the chief academic officer of LHU. The Office of
the Provost stands at the intersection of LHU’s faculty, staff, and student communities. The Provost oversees academic programs and priorities, ensures for quality of the faculty, and maintains educational excellence.
 
The units reporting to the Provost are the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education and Human Services, Library and Information Services, Clearfield Branch Campus, Enrollment Services, Grants Acquisition, ROTC, the Institute for International Studies, the Honors Program, and Academic Technology which includes Continuing and Distance Education. 

LHU offers more than 60 degree programs at our main and Clearfield campuses. The programs are at the associate, baccalaureate, and master degree levels. The university also offers a host of courses and degrees via various distance education delivery modes.
