Quality Teaching
Lock Haven University's small size and commitment to teaching excellence allow the psychology department to ensure that most classes are under 48 students. Additionally, all of our classes are taught by Ph.D.-level psychology professors. This is critical in helping students make the sometimes difficult transition from high school to college. Furthermore, our psychology faculty have received numerous awards for teaching excellence and have obtained several research grants devoted to enhancing teaching.
