“East Campus Classrooms – HVAC
Replacement”, Project 409-NP. Lock Haven
University of Pennsylvania, part of the State System of
Higher Education, is seeking bids for Mechanical and
Electrical Construction. Brief description of the
project: Work included under this project consists of
East Campus Classrooms – HVAC Replacement at Lock Haven
University. The work consisting of two (2) Prime
Contractors as specified, involves Mechanical
Construction: removal and replacement of six (6)
Classroom Unit Ventilators with new units, including
adding condensing units, refrigerant piping, condensate
drain piping, steam piping reconnections and new
controls; and Electrical Construction: disconnecting and
reconnecting electric services to existing HVAC units,
installing new services (wire, conduit, disconnects,
etc) to new outdoor condensing units. Work shall
include, but is not necessarily limited to, the
furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials,
tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to
complete all construction identified in the Contract
Documents at the satisfaction of, and subject to
approval of the Professional and the State System of
Higher Education. A pre-proposal conference will be held
at the University’s “East Campus Auditorium” on
Tuesday, April 13, 2010
(9:30 AM). While not mandated for bidding, all
prospective bidders are highly encouraged to attend the
meeting and the site-tour which immediately follows.
Contractors shall submit all questions in writing
to W2A Design Group by
5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2010. Any/all
questions regarding this project are to be submitted
in writing to the Professional.
Bids are due on
Wednesday, April 28, 2010 (2:00 p.m.) and are

Telecommunications and Internet services. The purpose
of this Request for Proposal is to establish a
Contract with a single telecommunications provider
to deliver telecommunications and Internet circuit and
bandwidth services to Lock Haven University and its
branch campus and satellite program locations. A
pre-proposal conference will be held at the University’s

Construction. Brief description of the project: Work
included under this project consists of Jack Stadium –
Track Repair & Resurfacing at Lock Haven University. The
work consisting of one (1) Prime Contractor as
specified, involves General Construction:
Replacement of a limited portion of the existing track,
cleaning and preparation of the repaired area and
balance of the existing track and D-areas, resurfacing
of the entire track and D-areas with a structural
polyurethane spray, and restriping and recertification
in accordance with IAAF and NCAA standards.
Work shall include, but
is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all
labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment
and performing all work necessary to complete all
construction identified in the Contract Documents at the
satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the
Professional and the State System of Higher Education. A
pre-proposal conference will be held at the University’s
“East Campus Auditorium” on
Wednesday, April 28,
