MATCHES

The best way to meet a Little Brother or Sister is by attending monthly activities provided by BBBS for the entire group. When the child, volunteer, parent, and staff have all agreed on a match, all parties meet to discuss expectations, policies, and trade contact information. Staff will be in contact with all parties on a monthly basis to asses the progress of the match.

WHERE MENTORING TAKES PLACE

After the match is finalized you and your Little are welcome to meet at any time once a week that is convenient for you, your Little, and his/her parent. You may go for a bike ride, get ice cream, play games at your home, go bowling, or any other activities that you would like to try together!

ACTIVITIES

Big Brothers Big Sisters provides over 30 monthly group activities and at least 3 community service projects for the children and volunteers. The monthly activities include kayaking, game nights, bowling, picnics, horseback rides, arts and crafts, hikes, go-karts, and many more! Community service projects have included cleanups and fundraisers.

Children and volunteers are required to attend at least two of the monthly activities provided by BBBS. This allows the staff to observe the way you and your little interact. Children and volunteers are also required to attend at least two community service projects equaling 5 hours.
