Professional
Semester Courses: Students
must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher in track courses and an overall GPA of
2.0 or higher to enroll in professional semester courses and RECR425.
Also a minimum of 50 Community Service hours need to be completed.
Professional
Semester: Prior to the senior field experience, students undergo
a prescribed set of classes, known as Professional Semester. These classes
offer an integrated experience that prepares students for their final

Field Experiences:
As part of the Recreation curriculum students complete 2 professional
field experiences: 210 Field Participation and 425 Field Experience. For

Community
Service Requirement:
As part of your requirement for a degree, you are required to complete
a minimum of 50 documented community service hours. Your assigned advisor
will provide more details regarding this requirement.
