Healthcare Professions, A.A.S.

An associate's degree in Healthcare Professions can lead to careers in high demand field such as occupational therapy assistant, paramedic, physical therapy assistant and many more.  Whether you are currently employed in a Healthcare Profession or would like to enter the growing field, the associate's degree program at Lock Haven University's Clearfield Campus gives you the options to pursue your goals.

Students who hold a recognized certificate in a Healthcare Profession field may satisfy the general education component by completing the following general education courses:

Humanities (6.0 sh in at least 2 categories)

History/Social Sciences (9.0 sh in at least 3 categories)  
Economics/Government 3 sh

Sociology/Anthropology 3 sh
World History 3 sh

Students who do not hold a recognized certificate in a Healthcare Profession field may satisfy the professional component by completing the following Healthcare Profession core courses (31 sh total) in addition to completing the general education requirements.
