Biology, B.S.                                               


The student may choose from three options:

CELLULAR AND ORGANISMAL BIOLOGY OPTION:
Intended for students with career goals in molecular biology, medicine or health related fields.  This option prepares students for entry-level employment, graduate or professional schools.

DNA ANALYSIS METHODS OPTION

ECOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL BIOLOGY OPTION:
Intended for students with career goals in environmental fields such as environmental resource management, fisheries and wildlife biology and related fields.  This option prepares students for entry-level employment, graduate or professional schools.
 

MARINE BIOLOGY OPTION:
Career opportunities for marine biologists exist for individuals with all levels of education.  Employers include state and federal government offices and laboratories, educational institutions, industries, magazines, books publishers, television, radio, legal firms, environmental societies, and many others.  Lock Haven University is a member of the Wallops Island Marine Science Consortium (WIMSC).
