Special Programs in Health Science:  Highly qualified, selected students may be considered for either of the following special programs upon invitation by the Admissions Committee.

Track 7:  "3+2" Program leading to a Master of Health Science/Physician Assistant in Rural Primary Care:  A compressed schedule of undergraduate classes, including summer work, enables students accepted in this program to transition into the graduate program at the end of their junior year.  Students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.200 in the undergraduate program and complete all core pre-requisite courses with a minimum grade of B-.  Successful students are then granted a BS in Health Science at the end of the fall semester of their fourth year and a Master's degree at the end of the two-year graduate program, in a total of five years.  Contact the Health Science Department for details about this program.
