Lock Haven University has a strong standing tradition of commissioning officers that exceed the standard. The Haven ROTC program is actively recruiting the best students that will uphold this tradition and we are expanding into fields such as the nursing and the physcian assistant program.

As an army nurse you will get to travel the world and perfect your nursing skills in nearly every specialty of nursing. Army nurses are highly coveted in the private sector due to their experience, leadership skills, and ability to work under pressure.

Through the Haven ROTC program Nursing students can receive a scholarship to pay for their entire schooling and a stipend for each month of school. If you are a student transferring in from Lock Haven University's Clearfield Campus there are opportunities for you in Lock Haven's ROTC program.

Haven ROTC offers an array of internships, full tution scholarships, and a one time $650.00 lump sum payment for nursing students that want to become US Army officers. ROTC scholarships are merit based and are for those who want to excel in their career while serving their country.
