Discussion Assignments:
 
  • Discussion 2 (Feb 1): Students will submit a 600-800 word essay answering the following questions: What is the main argument of the essay?  What key facts or evidence are used in support of the argument?  Be certain to summarize the main argument in your opening paragraph.
  • Book Discussion Assignment (Mar 31): Students will submit a 600-800 word essay answering the following questions: How did domestic animals become active participants in the expansion of the English empire?  Explain especially how and why English colonists turned from cooperation to displacement of Native Americans.
